Protected Areas Around the Globe
Across the planet, there are thousands of parks and protected areas, but that does not mean that all are created equal. In many cases, these parks are simply preserved on paper, with little in the way of actual conservation for the landscapes or the life they contain. Take a look around the globe at the areas deemed worthy of protection. Only by recognizing the current situation and the regions in need (both with or without current protection) can we help preserve as much of the natural world as possible, for future generations to enjoy.
